Dr. Aerin Sembhi, MD
Integrative & Internal Medicine Physician
Founder, Sembhi IntegrativeDr. Aerin Sembhi is a double board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine with nearly a decade of clinical experience spanning primary care, rehabilitation medicine, and integrative practice. She founded Sembhi Integrative with a clear conviction: patients deserve medicine that looks at the whole person.
Dr. Sembhi specializes in complex, multi-system conditions — the ones that are difficult to diagnose, easy to dismiss, and where conventional medicine often leaves patients without answers.
As a primary care doctor, she commonly works with endometriosis patients navigating autonomic dysfunction, vascular disorders, immune reactivity, connective tissue disorders, neurologic dysfunction, gastrointestinal microbiome disorders, and intestinal motility disorders. These conditions rarely fit neatly into a single specialty — and they disproportionately affect women who have been told their labs are normal and their symptoms don't make sense. Dr. Sembhi built her practice specifically for them — for the women who finally want to feel truly seen and heard. For her patients, that often means reduced symptoms, restored energy, and a reclaimed quality of life.
Her training across internal medicine, primary care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and integrative medicine gives her a distinctively broad clinical lens — one that allows her to hold the complexity of a patient's full health history while identifying patterns that others miss. She combines evidence-based medicine with a deep commitment to understanding root causes rather than simply managing symptoms. She is known for taking the time to truly listen, translating complex science into language her patients can act on, and partnering with her patients toward real, lasting change.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Sembhi enjoys swimming and being at the beach, and is a wife and a mother of four, whose personal postpartum journey shaped the heart of her practice.
